The Hotel Quinta do Lago is located at the Algarve Coast, in south of Portugal, a place where can be enjoyed the amazing natural beauty and the pleasant life style. Just inside the Ria Formosa Natural Park, there is acres of green fields, scented pine forests, flower-bordered lakes and lush vegetation meander down to a golden shore.
There are daily International flights direct to Faro from most major European cities and also connections through Lisbon. Flights from Madrid take one hour; from Geneva - two hours; from London - just over two hours; from Frankfurt, Brussels, Rome and Amsterdam - under three hours; from Stockholm - five hours; from New York - just over eight hours; and from Rio de Janeiro - under nine hours. |

Airport Transfer
The Hotel Quinta do Lago is located 20km from International Faro airport and two hours drive from Seville. The journey to Faro takes 20 minutes driving. We work with a deluxe transfer company (fleet of Mercedes, BMW’s, Volvo, Audi’s, etc), all the drivers have guide training and speak several idioms.
Drive instructions from Faro airport to Hotel Quinta do Lago
- Leave the airport and drive for three km until you will find some signs indicating the direction to Faro and Portimão.
- Turn right in direction to Portimão.
- This road will take you to the National Road – EN 125 – which follows the Algarve coast.
- Continue for about 4 km’s until you will see the signs to Loulé and Portimão.
- Turn right in direction to Portimão and continue straight ahead for around 3 km’s.
- Turn to your right, following the sign to Almancil.
- Drive for more two or three km’s until you arrive to Almancil.
- Inside Almancil, you will find a sign indicating Quinta do Lago.
- Turn to your right on the second traffic lights.
- After you drive for 500 meters you will find a road bifurcation.
- Follow the left road, you will find a golf shop on your right.
- Continue straight ahead for more two km’s where you will find a round about with a big “Q”. This is the entrance of Quinta do Lago.
- Following this road, always straight ahead, you will pass more 5 round about until the end of the road. At the end of the road you will find a car park and in your right you will see Hotel Quinta do Lago.
