Quinta do Lago - Courses

		Quinta do Lago South Designed by William Mitchell, this truly wonderful 6,488 metres, par-72 championship course, set in undulating hills and pine forest, has hosted the Portuguese Open eight times.

		Quinta do Lago North This 6,000 metres, par-72 course, designed by William Mitchell and Joseph Lee, begins with a gentle-looking downhill tee shot, but do not be fooled as this course can prove a stiff test to any golfer.

		Pinheiros Altos Course The newest course within the Quinta do Lago estate, and situated only five minutes from the hotel, is an independent, 6,159 metres, par-72, 18-hole course designed by Ronald Fream.

		Vale do Lobo Royal Course The 6,050 metres, par-72 Royal Course mixes a new nine holes to the original Yellow nine holes, making a very pleasant but stiff test of golf.

		Vale do Lobo Ocean Course Designed by Sir Henry Cotton, the 5,493 metres, par-71 Ocean Course is based around the original design which has been restructured over the last two years. It is located only ten minutes from the hotel and is always a joy to play.

		Vilamoura Old Course Designed by Frank Pennink, the 6,331 metres, par-73 course has just undergone a major facelift with the re-seeding of all the fairways and the restructuring of the greens.

		Vilamoura Pinhal Designed by Frank Pennink, the 6,331 metres, par-73 course has just undergone a major facelift with the re-seeding of all the fairways and the restructuring of the greens.

		Vilamoura Millennium Designed by Joseph Lee, Vilamoura Millennium is completely different from either the Pinhal or the Old courses.

Vilamoura Laguna

Designed by Joseph Lee in 1990, Vilamoura Laguna, with 6,133 metres and par 72 is completely different from Pinhal and Old courses.

		VILAMOURA VICTORIA “Victoria Clube de Golfe” is a championship course of 18-hole par 72 course, occupying a total area of 90 hectares and with a total distance of 6,560 meters.

		ISLANTILLA GOLF Inaugurated in 1992 and since then it has become one of the best and most well-known Spanish golf courses in Europe.

		BENAMOR This new course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and is located in an area of the Algarve that until quite recently had no infrastructures at all for golfers.

		VALE DA PINTA Vale da Pinta, also designed by Ronald Fream is a par 71 of 6152 metres. In our opinion, it is one of the best golf courses in Portugal today.

		SALGADOS Situated in one of the best-known regions of the Algarve, between Albufeira and Armação de Pêra, Salgados is already a "postcard" of Portuguese golf.

		CASTRO MARIM This is one of the newest courses in Portugal, having been opened in 2000, in an area of the Algarve that until recently had no golfing infrastructures at all.

		QUINTA DA RIA This spectacular 18 hole course is in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and spreads along an almost flat surface of 660.000 m2 down to the Ria Formosa itself, hanging over it and with a stunning view of the sea.

		QUINTA DE CIMA Eighteen holes skillfully scattered by an area of 620.000 m2, the Cima Course show themselves very competitive dog-legs to the right and to the left and greens well protected by sand hazards and lakes, particularly holes 16, 17 and 18.

		Vila Sol Vila Sol is situated about 20 minutes from the hotel. This 6,189 metres, par-72 course, designed by Donald Steel, is a true test of golf for all standards.

		QUINTA DO GRAMACHO Carvoeiro Golf is a complex with two golf courses - Gramacho, inaugurated in December l99l, and Vale da Pinta, in October 1992, located between Lagoa and Carvoeiro. Both were designed by the well known architect Ronald Fream. Grarnacho has an interesting formula of 72 tees, nine fairways and 18 greens.
