Special Events

JEEP SAFARI  (HALF OR FULL DAY)
We provide the driver and route. After being picked up from the Hotel we travel in convoy. Through the country side mainly on dirt tracks and through river beds you will get introduced to a different Algarve. A stop to see basket making and another to learn how the “Fire Water” is made and of course a chance to taste it! Nature in pure state with fabulous sceneries. Lunch in a typical rustic restaurant in the country side. A good fun, relaxed and also educational trip. Each jeep takes up to 8 passengers.

PAINT BALL “WAR GAMES”  (HALF OR FULL DAY)
Combine with a half day jeep safari. A full explanation of how the game is played, which in very simple terms is to “kill” your enemies, grab the flag and bring it into your territory and you have won that round. Great team spirit and tactics (sometimes a bit dirty and sneaky). Protecting goggles, overalls, gun, paint balls is provided. Tennis shoes or very comfortable shoes are recommended.

LOULÉ MARKET (SATURDAY MORNING ONLY) HALF DAY
Loulé, the market town and handicraft centre where farmers come to sell their fresh home products. Then to Alte, considered the most Algarvian village with its narrow winding secrets and white cottages.

PORTIMÃO SHOPPING (HALF DAY)
Most important fishing harbour in the Algarve. This, the second largest town of the Algarve offers excellent shops to spend your money! If on the return you are not to tired we will stop for some wine tasting.
 
FARO THE CAPITAL (HALF DAY)
On the way to Faro we stop to visit the beautiful church in Sâo Lourenço with all the traditional blue and white tiles. When arriving to Faro we will stroll through the old town before leaving you to go shopping or just joining the Portuguese at an outside café watching the world pass by.

MONCHIQUE & SILVES (FULL DAY)
Silves, the Old Moorish Capital with its Castle and Cathedral. Foia, the highest point in the Algarve giving you a breath taking view both east and west. Time for a “Piri Piri” chicken lunch in Monchique. Caldas, the spa village, the rumor is you get ten years younger when drinking the water!!!
