Located in the  Quinta do Lago Resort in the Algarve, next to the Ria Formosa Estuary  and the sea, in the very heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Park.

What to do

Hotel Quinta do Lago is situated on the Algarve coast, in southern Portugal, next to Ria Formosa, where the extraordinary natural beauty blends perfectly with a pleasant lifestyle. With an immensity of wavy green fields, scent of pine forests, flowered lakes and lush vegetation meandering to the golden coast. It is a perfect place for walking and bird watching.

The central Algarve area between Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Almancil is often called the Golden Triangle, where you can find wonderful beaches, luxury accommodation, some of the best golf courses in the Algarve, complete with a selection of fantastic restaurants, some Michelin-starred, shops and excellent sports and leisure facilities for the whole family.

The Algarve is not only about 200 km of coastline, but also the mountain chains called “serra”, where people live in harmony with nature and maintain traditions which they like to share. Towns like Silves, which keeps traces of the Arab past, or Lagos from the Age of Discoveries, or Tavira with a showcase of traditional architecture.
In the gastronomy stand out fresh fish and seafood, grilled or prepared in “cataplana”.
