Brisa do Mar

Brisa do Mar Restaurant with magnificent views over Ria Formosa and the sea, that can be admire from comfortable indoor area of restaurant or from the splendorous terrace, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the menu you will find traditional Portuguese specialties and international dishes, carefully prepared by Chef Gerhard Pölzl and his team.

Among the selection of fresh fish of the day, you can find specialities such as “peixe em crosta de sal”, (fish in salt crust) o “arroz de marisco”(seafood rice) or a famous Algarvian “cataplana”. For dessert we suggest Lime and Lemon Cheesecake or the Carob Creme Brulée with Algarvian almond ice cream.

*Please note that dinner service at Brisa do Mar is seasonal and subject to the time of year. During the cooler months, dinner is served at Ca’ d’Oro Restaurant.

Chef Gerhard Pölzl

Born in 1966 in Austria, the Chef trained at the prestigious Bad Gleichenberg Hotel School, building a strong classical foundation and a deep commitment to the art of gastronomy. With a vision of excellence, he is dedicated to reviving traditional flavours, combining technique, precision, and the finest ingredients. His work celebrates Portuguese cuisine, reinterpreting classic dishes with elegance while respecting their original identity.
